Iron Man as the name suggest is definitely a sci-fi super hero movie. But its definitely different..it seem more realistic than any other super hero movie (most realistic if I can say lyk dat) coz it doesn't have a hero from some out of the galaxy Planet ...nor he has been bitten by some insects, and he is definitely not a LOSER in his non super hero character..
The movie is based on a master mind weapon inventor/dealer (you can not call him a scientist..) who is extremely rich, a womenizer and doesn't believe in the fact that his inventions kill several people. His life changes when he goes to Afghanistan for a showing his weapon(to the US army ) and gets kidnapped by the Terrorist.
The story moves how he fled from there and dats not all it there are lots of twist and turns..
The USP of this movie is extremely good and realistic special effects,and Live action. The cinmatography is brilliant and Afghanistan is shown pretty beautifully..The way Tony Sharks..(Iron man) learn his skills in the second half intenioally make the audience laugh...and the beginning of a Super Hero is shown in this movie . But that doesn't take away the few scenes in which Iron Man shows his capabilities which are quite good. However it could have been more in number.
Shoun Toub did a good brief role of multi-lingual man who was in the captivity with Iron Man and yes you can hear his few dialogues which are in URDU.
